Designer, textile artist and creator of unique pieces that bring together art, design and sustainability.

Born in the Alto Valle of Río Negro and Neuquén in Argentina, Sabina Tiemroth graduated in Fashion and Textile Design from the University of Buenos Aires (2011). Her training expanded into contemporary jewelry with Jorge Castañón, sculpture with Luis María Terán, and textile projects with renowned artists such as Chiachio & Giannone.

She is the co-founder of Proyecto Ojalá, dedicated to the dissemination of international contemporary jewelry, and has been part of the Joyeros Argentinos community.

Her work has been recognized with the Sello de Buen Diseño Argentino on multiple occasions:
— Cruza Capsule Collection (2023), in collaboration with Telarmadre
— Cocun Textile Lighting Collection (2021)
— Simismo Contemporary Jewelry and Objects Collection (2018)

 

She also holds the Ethical Design Entrepreneur certification (UBA Emprende, 2019) and has received grants from the National Fund for the Arts and the Argentine Fund for Cultural and Creative Development.

 

In her studio, she develops collections of textile art and design, offers workshops, advises companies and museums, and creates works that have been exhibited in national and international exhibitions, including:
Museo Sívori, Salón Nacional de Artes Visuales, Bienal Latinoamericana de Joyería Contemporánea, Schmuck (Germany), Jewelerswerk Galerie (USA), Melting Point (Spain), Silver Festival (Poland), Instituto Cervantes (Netherlands), and Museo Franz Mayer (Mexico).

 

Her artistic practice is rooted in upcycling and in the revaluation of inherited materials, transforming textile remnants into objects that tell stories, care for the planet, and connect with emotional memory.
